"We take a scientific approach and combine common sense to alleviating pain and restoring good health by treating the source of pain-not just the symptoms!"

- Stewart Chiropractic

The Stewart Healing System

Our form of managed care is to customize your treatment plan based on your needs as an individual.

"It's a privilege as opposed to an opportunity to treat you and your family by providing the highest quality of care in a compassionate and gentle manner. The staff at the Stewart Chiropractic Center is committed to treating you with dignity and respect for you as an individual and here to serve your health care needs."

Dr. Stewart has been treating clients at his Pittsburgh chiropractic office for over 25 years. His natural approaches utilizing nutritional counseling, chiropractic care and natural healing will allow your body to perform to its maximum potential and eliminate the side effects present in traditional types of medical care.

Stewart Chiropractic Center combines traditional and conventional chiropractic approaches such as spinal manipulation combined with age-old proven therapies such as acupressure, energy techniques (energy medicine), applied kinesiology, detoxification programs, nutritional programs, vitamin and herbal therapies, physiotherapies, exercise programs, massage, lifestyle modification protocols, and other therapeutic modalities. This integrative approach incorporates evidence-based complementary therapies into conventional treatments providing a more holistic and comprehensive approach to healing.

The assembly-line approach often experienced by many patients seeking relief from pain associated with many conditions and injuries is not an acceptable practice here at the Center; we understand that this is non-conducive to the healing process.

It is with a great deal of pride and skill that treatment is provided. We recognize that when a patient or their family member is suffering with pain or addressing a health care concern this is often the time when a patient can feel most vulnerable. Making a patient feel as comfortable as possible and developing a level of trust is an important element.

Building a good doctor-patient relationship means respecting patient boundaries, means communicating at a level in which a patient is able to comprehend, means respecting a patient's confidences, means making sure a patient has an understanding of their treatment/care plan and means a commitment to assisting a patient in becoming an active participant in their healing process.

Communication is vital in providing care and in implementing treatment. Many medical errors within the healthcare industry happen because of miscommunications. Becoming an active listener is one of the best ways to avoid errors and increase compliance and gain your faith. It is the best way to ensure a positive outcome of treatment with regard for your best interest, health and well-being.
